Mission

We exist to bring the gospel into the city of Bellevue and beyond by building and sending resilient disciples of Jesus Christ for the flourishing of all people, society, and creation.

Vision Story

We see a church that goes beyond Sundays. Where we don’t just share space, we share life. We see a church that engages in radical transformation, serves its community, is generous, and restores confidence in following Jesus. A church that fills coffee shops with people who are reading their Bible together in the city embodying the gospel lived-out.

We see a church whose purpose is to ignite every individual to come alive in Jesus. Where we are always inviting people to follow Christ and interpret the Scriptures and our world through the person and life of Jesus.
We see a church that is not afraid to take risks, innovate for the sake of the Kingdom,  moves the Church into the future and never settles for the status quo. A church who believes the message of Jesus never changes, but our methods should.

We see a church that engages in a holistic gospel as Jesus brings renewal to the whole person, all of society, and creation. Where people allow their lives to make a difference in their homes, cities, workplaces, and reveal the power of the Kingdom of God.

We see a church that pioneers a fully accredited discipleship school that is focused on teaching, building, and sending resilient disciples into the world prepared for their future. We seek to have 250 students by the year of 2035. From this, churches will be planted, ministry will be released, and people will partner with the mission of Jesus.

We see a church focused on raising resilient children. A church where kids are taught the story of Jesus are discipled, and set an example for their generation. A church where young people love to be in the house of God because they are flourishing, believed in, find their Kingdom identity and challenged to grow.

We see a church where people wrestling with faith are inspired and desire to be a part of our community because it is safe for them to journey. A church where people see real people touched by the grace of God, empowered by the Spirit of God, and desire to meet Jesus in a real way. Where 3,000 people are saved and baptized by 2035.

This is Ember: We exist to bring the gospel into the city of Bellevue and beyond by building and sending resilient disciples of Jesus Christ for the flourishing of all people, society, and creation.
