IT ONLY TAKES ONE

OUR MISSION

For the City at Ember Church exists to live out the Gospel mission of our community and of the Kingdom. We believe that Jesus is for not only our city, but all people, society and creation. Our desire is to be in tune with God's heart for Bellevue and to partner with what He is already doing; to love our neighbor in their cultural context, and to be a small part of the big story God is writing in their lives. Our heart is that people would come to know Jesus through generosity and the glorification of Jesus with our lives. We believe this starts outside of the four walls of our church, that it starts with you, and it only takes one.

WE LOVE OUR CITY BECAUSE JESUS LOVES OUR CITY

DREAM CENTER
MISSION TRIP

JUNE 30 — JULY 6 2024

We are partnering with Dream Center, located in Los Angeles California, to do a week-long mission trip. We will be spreading the love of Jesus through hands-on experiences like evangelism and meeting the tangible needs within the community. We believe the Lord is calling Ember Church to join Him in faith for this incredible journey, and we cannot wait to see the impact we will make together. To gain further insights into Dream Center, simply click ‘Learn More’. To give financially to our mission trip click ‘Giving Link’.

WHAT GOD HAS DONE

  • In spring of 2022 we partnered with Atlas Free—a Kirkland based organization dedicated to seeing slavery end in our lifetime. Through the generosity of our church we were able to donate $3,679 to help end the fight against sex trafficking locally and globally.

  • Every year, Ember Church partners with Jubilee Reach and Stevenson Elementary to support teachers, the faculty, and students heading into a new school year.

In 2022, 75 students received backpacks and schools supplies. We had 11 people from our community join in a serve day to support Stevenson Elementary faculty and teachers.

In 2023, 137 students received backpacks full of schools supplies. We had 20 people from our community join in a serve day to support Stevenson Elementary faculty and teachers.

  • Every year following Jubilee Service Day, members from our community and other churches gather together in Bellevue’s Downtown Park for a worship service, celebrating the good works done together as one community.

In 2022, 20 churches gathered for a total of 1,500 people.

In 2023, 14 churches gathered for a total of 1,400 people and there was 1,250 online.

  • Formally called, Fill the Table, The Market is our Thanksgiving food drive where members of our community and local grocery stores partner together to make sure no family goes without a meal during the holiday season.

When we we re-branded our Thanksgiving food drive as The Market in 2023, we had a brand new vision ahead of us! The Market is a space where people in our community are presented the Gospel in a tangible way- through generosity, servanthood and the spirit of invitation. The Market provides the city of Bellevue and beyond tools to flourish!

Here is what we have accomplished in previous years:

In 2023, 21 families shopped The Market and were gifted free Thanksgiving meals. Then we gave 20 turkey’s to Jubilee Reach and they dispersed the turkeys to families in the Bellevue area.

In 2022 we exceeded our goal of 30 families and were able to provide 60 families in our community and homeless individuals at Union Gospel Mission with a Thanksgiving dinner.

  • During the Christmas season we partnered with Angel Tree, a prison ministry helping provide Christmas gifts for hundreds of thousands of children of incarcerated parents around the country each year. In 2022 we gifted over 30 children in the greater Seattle area with Christmas gifts and bibles.
